Norris brings 30+ years of product development experience in healthcare diagnostics, encompassing the full product lifecycle in early startups as well as large global companies. Early in his career, Norris held key roles at numerous startup companies. He was essential in architecting and heading the development of a Laboratory Information System that became the premier system used at several of the top 10 US academic and community hospitals. He later blended his technical and product management skills to successfully bring to market whole slide image scanners and software in the then nascent Digital Pathology arena. Most recently, Norris was the technical project leader at a startup where he led the development team in designing and developing an IVD for the detection of drug resistance bacteria. All three of these startups in Norris’ career had successful exits by acquisition, the last one was by Roche in 2015. As Vice President of IVD Development at Endpoint Health, Norris looks to leverage his deep experience to ensure world class products are developed at Endpoint. Norris received his BS from Santa Clara University. He lives with his wife in Brentwood, CA and has two adult sons.
